- Leaflets tackle alcohol problem (August 29, 2010)
Print companies in Coatbridge or other areas of Greater Glasgow will be getting involved in NHS Greater Glasgow’s latest plans to tackle the area’s growing alcohol problem. Following a report from a team of experts, a list of recommendations has been developed in the hope that the health of residents in the area will improve. It is recommended that the region’s pubs that open early in the morning should only be able to supply alcohol with a breakfast and that leaflets should be printed and made available in all licensed premises giving details about the recommended daily limits for alcohol consumption.

McVitie’s will be launching a consumer collect and reward scheme based around their biscuits, such as Jaffa Cakes, for consumers to be rewarded for their loyalty to their brands. The scheme, which will be called the ‘McVitie’s VIP Club’, is their first ever consumer scheme of its kind and aims to give something back to their consumers for choosing their brands.

As competition intensifies amongst mobile phone companies, mobile giant Vodafone has appointed an agency to review all of its global brand identity. Vodafone has appointed The Partners to this task following a pitch involving four other companies. The Partners are signed up to Team Vodafone, a team who co-ordinate all the work, such as advertising, carried out for Vodafone by other WPP owned companies.
